Fun peaks are on tap today, but buckle up because bigger surf is inbound later today and through the weekend! 🤙🔥

🏄 Surf Report:

  • SE swell running 2–4 ft+
  • Primary swell: SE (131°) 4.4 ft @ 8 sec
  • Expect increasing size and stronger currents as the weekend progresses.
  • There should be some fun windows early, but conditions may get more challenging as the swell builds.

💨 Wind Report:

  • Recent winds averaging 13 mph from the SE
  • As of 11:06 AM: ESE (116°) at 13 mph
  • Strong onshore flow continues, adding texture and pushing water down the beach.

🌊 Tides:

  • 🌅 High Tide: 2.0 ft at 5:04 AM
  • 🌙 Low Tide: -0.8 ft at 7:49 PM
  • Big tidal swings today—keep an eye on changing currents around the jetties.

  • ⛈️ Tropical moisture in the Gulf could bring scattered thunderstorms later today.

Large surf and EXTREME rip currents will be present. Even experienced surfers should use caution.

Never fight a rip current—swim parallel to shore and signal for help if needed.

🎣 Fishing Report:
The incoming swell can stir things up, but anglers may still find action around the jetties and channels for jack crevalle, trout, redfish, and sharks as water movement increases. Early morning and evening windows may fish best. 🐟🦈🎣
