Happy Wednesday! We've got some fun Gulf swell rolling in, warm water, and a few waves worth chasing!
🏄♂️ SURF: 2–3+ ft with fair conditions through midday. Waves around waist-high with occasional bigger sets. Expect conditions to become choppier later this afternoon.
🌊 SWELL: ESE 3 ft @ 7 seconds around noon, building to 3.5 ft @ 6 seconds by evening.
📡 BUOY 42092: E 3.3 ft @ 9 seconds. Still some solid easterly energy in the Gulf!
💨 WINDS: ENE 5 mph around noon, shifting ESE and increasing to 13 mph by evening.
⛅ WEATHER: Mostly sunny and around 80°F late this morning. Expect a high near 87°F with scattered afternoon showers and possible thunderstorms. Cooling into the 70s tonight.
🌡️ WATER TEMP: 77°F. Still comfortable for most surfers!

🔺 High: 8:19 PM | 2.5 ft
⚠️ HIGH TIDE: Water levels will rise through the afternoon toward tonight's 2.5 ft high tide. Watch for reduced beach driving space and stronger currents around the jetties.
🎣 FISHING: Redfish, speckled trout, black drum, and pompano are worth targeting around Packery Channel and the surf. Try live shrimp, finger mullet, cut bait, or soft plastics. Look for moving water and bait activity as the tide pushes in this afternoon!
🚩 BEACH SAFETY: Moderate rip-current risk today, with a chance of thunderstorms. Use extra caution around the jetties and keep an eye on changing conditions.
