We've got some easterly swell pushing into the Texas coast this morning! A little wind and weather in the mix, but there's definitely some surf to check out!

🌊 SURF: 3–4 ft forecast with waist-to-chest-high potential and occasional bigger sets at exposed breaks. Expect some bumpy, choppy conditions with northeast winds. Check the live cam before paddling out!

🌊 SWELL: E 4 ft @ 8 seconds. Easterly swell delivering some energy to our beaches!

💨 WINDS: NE 10–15 knots, gusting to 20 knots. Expect onshore texture, chop, and some drift.

🌤️ WEATHER: Mostly sunny to partly cloudy with scattered showers possible and a slight chance of thunderstorms. Currently in the mid-60s, warming to around 80–82°F.

🌡️ WATER: Mid-70s.

🎣 TIDES — PACKERY CHANNEL JETTIES
🔻 Low: 8:17 AM — 1.5 ft
🔺 High: 10:49 AM — 1.5 ft
🔻 Low: 6:09 PM — 0.9 ft

🎣 FISHING REPORT: Redfish, speckled trout, black drum, and pompano are worth targeting around Packery Channel, the jetties, and nearby surf. Look for bait movement and fish feeding along the deeper guts and channel edges. Live shrimp, cut bait, and soft plastics are good options. The outgoing tide toward this evening's low could offer another opportunity for redfish and trout. Rougher surf and NE winds may make beachfront fishing challenging today!
