Not much happening in the surf department today, but we've got some bigger waves on the way this weekend! Small, fairly clean conditions early, with a little more chop as the easterly winds pick up.

🏄‍♂️ SURF: 1+ ft and fair early, dropping to 1 ft and choppy this afternoon. Longboard or foamie kind of day!

🌊 SWELL: E 1.2 ft @ 7 sec, with buoy 42092 showing E 1.6 ft @ 8 sec.

💨 WINDS: ESE 8 mph early, E 11–13 mph through the afternoon.

⛅ WEATHER: Warm and humid, around 82°F with clouds and a chance of showers or thunderstorms.

🌡️ WATER: 76°F at Packery Channel.

🔻 Low: 6:30 AM
🔺 High: 12:42 PM
🔻 Low: 7:13 PM
🔺 High: 11:15 PM

🚩 RIP CURRENT RISK: LOW today. Always be careful around the jetties!

🎣 FISHING: Redfish, trout, black drum and sheepshead are worth targeting around Packery Channel. Live shrimp, mullet and soft plastics are good bets. Try fishing the moving water around the afternoon high tide!

🌊 WEEKEND HEADS-UP: Surf builds Saturday, with a much bigger, windy swell forecast for Sunday. Keep an eye on the cam!
