ππ€ Uncle Gregβs Surf & Fishing Report π£π΄
Tropical Storm Bertha is sending a fast-building pulse into the Texas coast today! π Currently, surf is knee to waist high, with shoulder-high sets inbound as the swell continues to build. Primary swell is SE (176Β°) at 3.2 ft @ 4 sec, with a small secondary ESE (111Β°) at 0.4 ft @ 7 sec. Winds will increase out of the south at 15β20 mph, creating choppy afternoon conditions.
π‘οΈ Air: 90Β°F
π Water: 85Β°F
βοΈ Weather Alert: Tropical rain bands are moving through the area. If you hear thunder or see lightning, get out of the water immediately and take shelter. No wave is worth the risk! β‘
π© Beach Conditions: Yellow and Purple Flags are flying. Moderate rip currents and marine pests are present, so use caution and always swim near a lifeguard. πͺΌ
π£ Fishing Report: Fishing isn’t looking great today as the incoming rain bands, rough surf, and dirty water will make conditions challenging. Better opportunities should return once the weather settles.
