Uncle Greg’s Surf & Fishing Report ๐Ÿค™๐ŸŒŠ๐ŸŽฃ

It’s another warm South Texas summer day with knee- to thigh-high SSE wind swell rolling in from 160ยฐ at 3.1 ft @ 5 seconds. Expect fun waves for beginners and longboarders, with a few playful sections if you pick the right sandbar. Conditions are semi-choppy this morning with southerly winds at 10โ€“15 mph, increasing and shifting SSE to 15โ€“20 mph this afternoon, so the cleanest surf will be early.

๐ŸŒŠ High Tide: 5:49 AM (1.7 ft)
๐ŸŒŠ Low Tide: 8:39 PM (-0.6 ft)

๐ŸŒก๏ธ Air: 92ยฐF
๐ŸŒŠ Water: 85ยฐF

๐ŸŽฃ Fishing is looking good today, especially around the Packery Channel jetties, Bob Hall Pier, and nearby guts. Live shrimp, croaker, and soft plastics should all produce. An early morning or evening trip will offer the best conditions before the afternoon wind kicks up.

๐Ÿšฉ Red flagโ€”use caution in the surf due to stronger currents and be mindful of marine life – keep an eye on the kiddos!
