🌊🤙 Uncle Greg’s Surf & Fishing Report 🎣🌴
Tropical Storm Bertha is sending a fast-building pulse into the Texas coast today and tomorrow! 🌊 Expect surf to build from knee-high to occasional shoulder-high sets as the day goes on. Primary swell is SE (176°) at 3.2 ft @ 4 sec, with a small secondary ESE (111°) at 0.4 ft @ 7 sec. Winds will increase out of the south at 15–20 mph, creating choppy afternoon conditions.
🌡️ Air: 90°F
🌊 Water: 85°F
⛈️ Weather Alert: Tropical rain bands are moving through the area. If you see lightning, get out of the water immediately and take shelter. No wave is worth the risk! ⚡
🚩 Beach Conditions: Red and Purple Flags are flying. Dangerous surf, strong rip currents, and marine pests are present, so use extra caution and always swim near a lifeguard. 🪼
🎣 Fishing Report: Fishing isn’t looking great today as the incoming rain bands, rough surf, and dirty water will make conditions challenging. Better opportunities should return once the weather settles.
