Good morning, beach fam! 🤙 A fun little summer swell is rolling through today with plenty of waves for the groms, longboarders, and anyone looking to get wet. 🌞🌊

🏄 Surf Report:
• Thigh to waist high SSE short-period wind swell 🌊
• Primary swell: SSE (151°) 3.9 ft @ 5 sec
• Secondary swell: ESE (116°) 0.3 ft @ 8 sec
• Best conditions early before the wind picks up
• Expect a little bump and texture as the day goes on

💨 Wind Report:
• South winds 10–15 mph this morning 🌬️
• Shifting SSE this afternoon
• Increasing chop through the day

🌊 Tides:
🌅 High Tide: 2:48 AM — 1.4 ft
🌙 Low Tide: 6:10 PM — -0.3 ft

🚩 Beach & Water Safety:
• Red flags are flying for moderate rip currents 🚩
• Use extra caution near Packery Channel, the jetties, and along the seawall
• Rip currents can be stronger than they appear, especially with the outgoing tide and moving water
• If caught in a rip current, stay calm, float, and swim parallel to shore

🎣 Fishing Report:
• Early morning has been the best window before the wind kicks up
• Look for trout and reds along grass lines and deeper channels
• Moving water around Packery Channel should keep bait active
• Conditions may get a little tougher this afternoon as the chop builds
