🌊 Surf & Fishing Report 🎣🤙

Fun corners to snag out there with waist- to chest-high surf from a SSE short-period wind swell. Swell is coming in SSE (155°) at 4.2 ft @ 6 sec, offering playful peaks and rideable sections.

💨 Winds:
Morning brings semi-choppy conditions with S winds 10–15 mph. Winds shift and ease in the afternoon to SSE 5–10 mph, helping things clean up a bit.

🌊🏄‍♂️ Surf & Fishing Report – North Padre Island 🎣☀️

A combo of short-period swell from the SE mixing with short-period swell from the N is producing surf with most waves in the 2–3 ft range, with set waves reaching around 4 ft. The dominant swell period is 6 seconds, so expect some bumpy, mixed-up energy out there.

💨 Wind: Strong and onshore from the SSE (150°) at 16 mph as of 8:39 AM, with recent winds averaging around 17 mph, making for choppy conditions.

🌊 Tides:
• High: 6:36 AM – 1.3 ft
• Low: 1:31 PM – 1.0 ft
• High: 3:16 PM – 1.0 ft

🚩 Red Flag Warning in effect. There are strong rip currents and lots of water moving today, creating hazardous conditions. Know your limits, stay aware of your surroundings, and watch out for each other in the water. Surf with a buddy and keep an eye on fellow surfers and swimmers. Safety first.

🎣 Fishing Report:
Fishing is really good off the Packery Jetties and Bob Hall Pier with the churned-up water firing things up. Lots of Sheepshead and Reds being snagged, and Pompano in the mix as well. If you’ve been thinking about getting out there, now’s the time to get some fish taco action! 🐟🔥
