I had a pretty great day fishing today!
I started my day fishing around noontime. First spot was at the entrance to Lake Padre. I fished dead shrimp on bottom right where the channel leaving the lake flows into the Packery Channel and had an epic run of giant pinfish!
I relocated to the jetty. I tried fishing near the base on the surf side, but the tide was super low, and there was a bunch of floating grass next to the rocks. I moved out to the rockpile and, using a #1 hook tipped with a small pinch of dead shrimp,
